S23 Ultra Battery fast charge from 20% - 100% in 1h 30minutes

seriously? is this right? i did a battery test and battery is fine.

that's with my phone turned on, and nothing really running.. screen turned off.. 

i turned my phone off and it gives me a little lightning icon above the percentage, so i  assume that means fast charging. i even have fast charging and wireless fast charging turned on in settings..

I did some research apparently there's supposed or i guess supposed to be a super fast charge option and ultra? but i don't have either of those, unless s23 ultra doesn't have those

It could be the 3rd party charger purchased that's not providing the charging speed you want @InsaneRetroGamer 

Also the cable being used also needs to be capable of allowing fast charging or super fast charging. 

I haven't used that GMM charger myself so can't comment on it's compatibility.

Reading the reviews left by people who have purchased this charger is a mixed bag if some saying there happybwith it and some saying it's nkt as fast as they thought on charging.

The indicator shown when charging does not mean it's fast or superfast charging.

It means the phone is on charge.

If you go into your Battery Settings whilst on charge what does it's status say ?

It was using the wrong port they state use c2 for fast charging I was on c1.

But there's still no option for super or ultra, I googled this and it seems like the option are missing from s23 loads sites state this. The charger is fantastic works amazingly. No issues for me, just had to read what ports they said to use..

I believe the wording "super fast charging" was removed from the menu. My S23 Ultra only has two options - fast charging and fast wireless charging - but when connected to official Samsung charger it shows the green charging ring and also says super fast charging in device manager. Also says super fast charging for a few seconds when connected and then just the percentage and time remaining as normal.

The option to disable superfast charging was removed in the S23 series, however it does support it, both 1.0 and 2.0.
