Can anyone please tell me how to clear the cache partition on s23 plus? As turning phone off then holding power and volume up buttons no longer works.

@Kirstyl0u: You will need to connect your Galaxy S23+ to a home computer via USB, or connect a set of USB-C headphones, before you proceed with the Power + Volume Up button presses. This will take you through to the Recovery Mode menu, where you can select 'Wipe Cache Partition' (using the Volume Up/Down buttons to navigate, and the Power button to select).

Thank you for your swift response. So is this the case in all the s23plus phones?
As they're online tech support said that I need it to be taken to a service center to see if there's a issue with my device.
Also will any usb c headphones work?
Thank you in advance for your time and help.

@Kirstyl0u: The need to connect to a USB device was introduced around Android 11, I believe, so the steps provided will be applicable to all our devices running Android 11 or higher.

What issue(s) have you encountered with your Galaxy S23+ that led you to want to clear the cache partition, and what other troubleshooting steps have you attempted so far?

I feel like the battery isn't what I expected. The on screen time is quite low. And i also read that there was a glitch when using smart switch to set up phone. As it was transferring all the cache and extra data you didn't need over. I read that ppl who had swapped phones using smartswitch had poorer battery and that ppl had cleared the cache partition and this greatly improved it.
Also im using the 85%battery protect and I've now seen that you shouldn't use that for the first 2 weeks while the phone is learning usage. So I thought it may help that also.
I have the 8gb memory and only 1 week in I have only 2.8 left.

You need to connect a wired headphone via charge port to boot & clear cache.
