S23 Phone - unable to dismiss Calendar notification

Hi, just bought a Galaxy S23. I set some reminders in the Calendar, and got one today. When I double-tapped the screen to open the phone, the calendar notification was showing but the 'X' on the screen to dismiss the notification doesnt work. Only the snooze/remind in ...mins worked. Very irritating as the only reason I bought a new phone was the 2G/3G switchoff! Any solution?

Hello there, I don't have any "X" on screen to dismiss notification too, I swipe them right 😁.

Yes thanks, Ive just discovered that rather than tapping on the X which is the intuitive thing to do, you have to swipe it right.

I'm having a similar problem and it's driving me nuts. No matter what I do (swipe right, left, up, down), the reminder always snoozes, never dismisses. How do I dismiss these notifications without unlocking and opening the notification?
