Topic says it all
Someone just tell me how the hell I can downgrade to one ui 6, this piece of garbage is unusable with this long delayed update
By the way, well done Samsung, I'm gonna switch to iphone after long 8 years because of this.
You managed to roll out one of most buggy updates so far

Hopefully this helps. I spent the entire day yesterday working on this. I have been told that with the 7 UI update, it adversely affects the s23 and s27 the worst. I tried wiping the cache. nothing. It was suggested that I do a factory reset and I argued that if I do, it won't change the update. I was right but there's a work around. It's a lot of work.
I did the factory reset after painstakingly off loading and backing up everything I had. Had issues getting it all back but made it. Woke up this morning to a message telling me to schedule the same update without an option to stop it. was super angry.
I did some more looking and there's a way to prevent any auto updates on your phone. I learned it from a youtube video and my phone was not identical but I worked through it. Even then, I wasn't confident so I watched another video. This one helped more. Said the auto update can turn itself back on. https://youtu.be/FxgZkLBiDRc
I haven't tested it bc I did it today but I see no more auto update messages. I feel more confident now. I was so frustrated bc I just bought my phone and I couldn't switch between my personal messenger and my meta business chats. I couldn't load photos to my clients. I was rebooting my phone 5 times a day. Hope this works for both of us. If not, Samsung can shove it. I'll buy an iphone.

I had the same issues and clearing the cache partition didn't work for me either. I finally backed up my phone using Smart Switch and reset to factory defaults and then restored. It's a pain in the ass, but it DID resolve the problem.

Dear Samsung
As you can read that many have issues with the update. In the last days it got worst: switch off randomly and at night, at least twice a day.
Now it's doing often "auto emory cleaning" too... wow it's getting annoying!!!
What a garbage. Solve it fast or sobstitute the phones.

Instead of releasing new devices, support the ones you broke with the One UI 7 update! Phones are overheating, lagging, and restarting 15 times an hour. No fix for months—just 'clear cache' advice. I've been a Samsung user for 10 years, but not anymore...
Saturday
Working on S23U for 3 weeks too since breakdown crash on 5 july curiously after update of 1st july, charging phone while using youtube and chatgpt (probably no link), being burning, crashed suddenly.
Never shut on but need to open and precharge the battery with specific board to recharge battery and realive the phone with low power (usb port on pc) to reactivate and then using 25W/45W samsung super charge 1.0 or 2.0 only permits to charge it but if i shutdown it too long i went to 0% an impossibility to shut it on again.
Absolute garbage for 2 years old phone of course guarantee is no more good and i will not attempt to go to samsung shop and being +400€ fees for changing motherboard and loose everything.
going to recovery when enough battery and wipe cache doesn't work, i tried to reflash the rom with Odin but no real change, but i could charge it now when it was not the case before but precharging.
the solution is maybe to factory reset so loosing everything is like brick the phone since i should buy another one (nothing phone), it's not admittable to launch updates which destroy battery/motherboard/IC chip.
