You can update to the latest one or Try using older firmware to see if you get updates. Anyway you don't lose any data using Odin.
Edit: remember that you need to use the HOME_CSC to not lose your data (not using CSC File, it will factory reset your phone)

Hi,

I just want to share what I know about the update and CSC issue.
I have the same service provider and the problem was the active CSC (-->EUX<--/EUX/PLS).
As I know the last CSC (PLS) can't be changed, so you have to set the active CSC to PLS as well.
When I did it (with SamFw Tool) I got the updates.

Hi @pingo124. This could indicate a European country. There isn't a way to change this. If you are in the UK, this would be why you're not receiving updates as each phone is manufactured for the region it's assigned to. You may be able to update the software using Smart Switch on a computer (as well as backing up your data). Take a look at the following link to download this program: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/?cid=sea-alert-redir

You need to download the latest EUX firmware on SamMobile or other tools/website. Put your phone in download mode, connect the phone on your PC (probably you need to install the Samsung Usb driver to work) Use Odin to flash the firmware and then the phone will restart. It happened to me too 4 months ago, with this method I solved it

I have already tried Smart Switch from PC and says the same, I am already on the latest version.  yes, I am in EU [Hungary] based on this link:

https://samfrew.com/firmware/model/SM-S911B/region/EUX/upload/Desc/0/10

indeed I am on the latest EUX version for this model. [which is from 2013]. If I understand correctly the CSC is changeable and I can get the auto update back if there is FW available to my model+CSC combo.

The last thing to do is to use the SamFw Tool. It is useful for changing the CSC of a Samsung phone. Try watching some tutorials, but it's actually an easy process. Enable USB debugging and then choose Change CSC and check if any update will come up.
