S23 battery drain following One UI 7 update

Battery seems to going quite fast on this new update compared to oui6 any solutions I dont..want to do a factory reset and lose everything

In addition to what I suggest, I also turned off location services and WiFi when on the go. 

5 G apparently drains the battery

I also stopped permissions for everything unless I opened the app. That included AI

Screen resolution and brightness was another. 

But agree, the % indicator of what apps used vs the drain doesn't match up... When I look it's says apps used 14% but battery is down 40%.

.and it all happened since the update, overnight

Was the problem fixed? I was thinking off buying the s23 ultra because its much cheaper then the s24ultra, but i AM not só sure after some problems i have read.

I'm getting about 2 days of usage still but I've lost about 2-3 hrs sot It had been fixed with the July update my battery life was back to about 13-14hrs sot and 2 days of usage but I just received the August update the other day and it's dropped again but that could be because of the update and needing a week or so for everything to settle again usually after every update I loose a couple of hrs I've noticed then it settles again and my battery life goes back to the way it was as for getting the s24u over the s23u I had the option to get the s24u but I got the s23u instead and I don't regret it from what I've seen the s24u is plagued with issues so I'm glad I went for the s23u I will wait and see what the s25u is like but I might not even upgrade to that

So you think the s24u is more than enough since its looks its has the same specs and its a loot cheaper. If it were you today what would you buy. I currently haver a Xiaomi mi11 but i just want to switch since it has a loot off bugs and the battery doesnt last me a whole day

If it was me I would stick with the s23u yes the s24u may on paper looks as if it has better specs but from what I've read the battery life is terrible the heating issues are also there and the camera from the pictures I've seen the s23u performs just as gd if not better in some scenarios only thing that would make me choose the s24u over the s23u is the 7 years updates policy but as I don't have my phone more than 2/3 years then I would still choose the s23u especially if your getting it alot cheaper and a gd deal the s23u is still a great phone but every1 is different I have the 512gb 12gb ram model and I'm only at 12% storage full so this might be the first device I keep for 3 years or more

No problem ! U honestly can't go wrong with either but as I say if it were me buying it today I would still choose the s23u I've also seen alot of people complain of the squared edges of the s24u hurting and digging into there hand while using it there was a few issues of the s24u that put me off I hope u enjoy your s23u when u get it 😎

Where is your evidence the battery life of the S24u is any better than the S23U?
