S Pen not connecting for Air Actions

Hello, I've noticed over the past few days that my s pen won't connect for air actions. I've tried resetting the phone, booting in safe mode, clearing the cache partition, and the air actions app cache / data but to no avail. Still the same issue 😔 anyone else having the same problem? Any fixes/advice would be appreciated! 

Edit: I've tried to 'reset spen' but that does the same - also seen the option to have the pen always connected - which would be great if I could only get it to connect in the first place....

What I've done is go into the support section on the Samsung Members App
Go into the feedback section and report the problem
The more that do the better.
Takes screenshots and provide as much detail as possible for the developers

I think just to add for now.
What works for me is I take the S Pen out for a few seconds and reinsert it.
I think what happens is if the S Pen is not used for a while.
It seems to not keep the capacitor charged up.
Putting the S Pen back in charges it up fully and the S Pen works OK.
Must be some software power management problem that I'm sure will be easily fixed.
One thing to try is going into the S Pen settings and turning on the section I've highlighted in the screenshot

Hi. I have the same problem, the S pen is not charging since day 1.

I have had the s23 ultra for 3 days now and I tried everything but nothing is working.

The problem could be related to the last update one ui 5.1.

And just to update - I've tried my S22 Ultra spen in my S23 - connected straight away - unfortunately the S23 SPen didn't connect to the S22! So do I need to replace my s23 SPen? Seems like it!

Just an update. I heated the s pen with a hairdryer for 1-2 mins on bought sides and after I put it back inside the s23 ultra it starts charging and connecting.

I think the problem was the capacitor from inside the s pen.

No just don't use the hairdryer too close.

I'd seen online other places about heating it up, and you also suggested it - tried 2 mins on both sides with the hairdryer but sadly it's still not working 😥
