Hi all, my screen got damaged on my S23 Ultra so I got it repaired from a shop in town. Well, my husband did, I was ill. He told me that the man took the S Pen out, and forgot to mention it and ask for it to be out back in. Long story short, my husband called the shop upon realising and the store denied all knowledge of having it. On mention of getting the police involved, suddenly it appeared.
I now have the Pen bbut I'm convinced it's a cheap knock off as the Pen is not showing as connected to my phone, and the air commands no longer work. It is suspect the Pen was removed in the first place, as there is no need for a screen repair, and the denial of having it is suspicious. Is there a serial number on the phones pen? Is there a way I can prove that it has been taken? Thanks, Dana

Hello @Members_c92J3iF
Unfortunately no there is not a serial number on the sPen.
If you go into the sPen settings look at the air command settings.
If as you say it's not inserted in Settings > Advanced Settings > sPen then either the sPen isn't a real one or they've managed to damage something inside.
You could look at purchasing an official sPen although it does not look to be available now via Samsung.com
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎
