Ringer sound off only

I'm wondering if there is an easy, non third-party app method for turning off the ringer sound but keeping ALL other sounds on, including notification sounds. I don't understand why notification sounds get turned off automatically when you turn off ringer sounds. I know I can set my ringtone to silent or I can do a Do Not Disturb but I would have to allow all app notifications. I just want to be able to silence calls at certain times throughout the day.

Why not just press volume down for the slider to show. Press the 3 dots, and slide just the ringtone down.1723649391287.jpg1723649391309.jpg

That automatically turns off the notifications too which is the problem.

Because the ringer sound IS a notification. If you want to turn your ringer off, then just toggle on 'silent' (see 1st screenshot).
All other sounds are unaffected.

If you want it silent at certain times, then set a routine for it (see 2nd screenshot).1723669650299_1723669650295_0.jpg1723670127153_1723670127148_0.jpg

Thanks. I have it set to the first one but was hoping I could a quick switch or shortcut to turn it on/off. I guess I'll just do it this way.

There is no harm in requesting a toggle button that just turns off the ringer sound, in fact it's a useful idea. You can request it via your Samsung members app. Just head to the Support section and tap on Ask questions.

Hey @DZMbiz

You can customise the sound notifications via our GoodLock app! If you haven't already downloaded this, you can find it in Galaxy Store > GoodLock > Install. Once it's installed, head into the app > Tap on 'Life up' at the bottom right > Search for 'Sound Assistant' > Tap the install icon next to the name.

Once it's downloaded, tap onto it > Individual app volumes > Tap the + icon > Tap on Phone > 3 dots in the top right > Add > Using the slider, reduce the sound of the Phone app.
