I have an S23 FE, purchased about 1.5 years ago.
I noted a new issue when try to reset: when I press&hold the power button, the screen with the 4 options (restart, power off, etc) appears briefly, but then the screen goes dark. If I release and press the power button again, the lock screen appears.
I thought it might be a power button issue, but if I use the quick access power off button, it just blanks the screen, rather than powering off the phone.
Any thoughts?
I can still press&hold the power and volume buttons to turn the phone off.

Solved. After thinking more, un-installed an app blocking app (Stay Focused) on the phone that hasn't been used in over a year. That did the trick.
I wonder some recent update or conflict could have made it go rogue.
Thanks for others thhoughts!

This clears and deletes any software that might be causing your phone to behave this way.

This only takes a small amount of time but can be massively helpful to your phone.
