Recovery mode?

Hey all, so after downloading the software update this morning. I went to wipe phones cache partition as I normally do, after a software update. For the life of me the recovery mode will just not show up for me. Does anyone know if they have made it pc only to be able to get the recovery mode up. It's a set of usb-c akg headphones that I normally use to wipe cache partition. I will try a pc later, just wanted to know if anyone has had the same issue. I've even watched a recent video with someone using an s23 ultra, had no problem but was plugged into pc.

In my experience with my S23+, I had to plug it into a PC before the Recovery Menu showed. I did Volume Down + Power. 
Without being plugged in, it booted normally.

With my fold3 I had to use a laptop, had to make sure the laptop recognised it as a phone first tho as it wouldn't work no matter how many times I tried the 2 buttons then plug it in. So make sure and correct it to your PC etc first so it finds the drivers to recognise it as a phone or it won't work. That's how it was for me anyway. Followed every tutorial on YouTube but none worked cos they didn't explain that bit first.

Just found a video on you tube showing it as volume up and power key. Worked first time after pulling my hair out

Was going to say that. I was able to do it on the S23 Ultra with volume up and power key after shutting the phone off.

Thank you, I was wondering why it wasn't working when I've done it before the April update, just had to make sure I was able to view my phone on my laptop and it started to work 😂
