Why do my S23 ultrapictures appear fuzzy when posted on Facebook, is there anything I can do to retain the original quality on Facebook posts?

It could be Facebook affecting the size and quality of the upload @Eddief16

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hi @Eddief16  Facebook priorities fast uploading times at the expense of the best quality.  They will always compress images  though the  compression can be reduced if you focus on the dimensions and use photo editing software. Facebook supports photos that are 720px, 960px, or 2048px on their longest edge, at any other size the dimensions will be automatically reduced. Similar results can also be achieved  with PNG files in any dimensions,PNG files can be exported direct from Lightroom. Further information here https://www.naturettl.com/upload-photos-facebook-best-quality-possible/

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

The first thing you need to check is whether your upload settings are in the right place. Every device has an optional image setting that can be changed to ensure all the media you take is in high definition (HD) quality. If this setting is not turned on, it could be the answer to why are my Facebook pictures blurry.16 Oct 2023
