Phone thinks I am in a call.

If I receive a missed incoming call any time prior to connecting to a Bluetooth audio device, the phone tells the Bluetooth device that I am in a call.

My car stereo instead of playing music, it will say call then count up time of the call.

When connecting to Bluetooth earphones, the audio comes from my phone speaker quietly as if I'm in a call.

This can be replicated 100% of the time and the only fix I've found is to restart my phone or start a new call and hang up.

This has also happened on my old S20 FE on every Android update and it's happening on me S23 FE also.

Having this same issue...along with most of the other problems with the 6.1 UI update. Overheating, short battery life, laggy etc. It's a joke at this point, I'm so frustrated 😠

My phone also got quite hot when just using McDonald's app. I am only 2 days in to the S23 FE so I didn't know if it was normal for this phone, since I've only had 6.1 on this phone. Battery seems to last less time than my old S20 FE too

What Bluetooth device is it (brand model) ? Did you try any other?

Yeah I tried 2, my car stereo and some Bluetooth earphones

same issue using Android v14 on ZFold 5.   I turn off Bluetooth but issue remains.  It depends upon when/how the inbound call was made.  NO resolution after the fact except to restart phone.

Having the same issue ever since yesterday and haven't found any fixes yet. Does anyone know a way around this? I can't play any media (music, YouTube, Voice notes, even my alarms don't work).
