Phone outlook email attachment downloads issue

After a recent software update my phone has suddenly started not allowing me to download email attachments over a certain size saying that 'file size is too large'. 

This never happened previously?

I am using email app on the Samsung version 6.1.82.0

It's very annoying.

How do I fix this? I can't find any obvious ways to change the relevant download files settings...

How big is the file and what type is it? And, check the permissions for the app

Did u ever receive a response. I previuosly never had a problem downloading any attached file smaller than 30mb. Now I get the message on all different size files some as small as 9mb. Need help!

Any answers. I have same problem with brand new s24 ultra. 14 mb pdf file cannot download in email app. Error comes file size too large too download. I have checked download linit it's set to unlimited

Anyone got any ideas, this has just started happening to our users including my CEO who receives a lot of large PDFs and was previously able to open them on the phone. Limit retrieval size is set to No Limit and there are no updates showing. Galaxy S21FE.

I also have the same issue. I have an S24 ultra and cannot download a 12.5mb attachment despite the retrieval size being set to no limit
