I've just updated my Galaxy S23 Ultra to OneUI 6 but the incredibly useful Samsung Finder app has disappeared.
On older versions of the UI, it provided a deep search of the phone to find folders, contacts, apps etc and you could create a shortcut to it from the homescreen.
It seems it's now been replaced by the search bar in the apps drawer, which is nowhere near as good.
Anyone know if it's still there, hidden away? Or a decent link to sideload it onto my phone?

I'm now using a shortcut to the in-built Contacts app which does auto pop up a keyboard, but you can of course only use it to search contacts.

Found a WORKAROUND !!
1. download the following app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.szalkowski.activitylauncher
2. Open it, search the following text:
".search.searchactivity"
3. You will get list of apps filtered. Expand the OneUI app, right click the 3 dot menu in the sub-activity and select edit shortcut.
4. Type "finder" on the top section, select the icon you want, then add a shortcut to your home screen.
5. Enjoy

Please tell Samsung what you feel in the Communities app. Here's the reply I got. Basically, they slashed the feature because - apparently - they thought noone was using it.
If we tell them we want it back..they might do it.,

So finder is an entry point to One UI launcher (which is also annoyingly a hidden app). I still want finder back because many icon packs had made an icon for it, which doesn't work with a shortcut. I wonder how the smooth brains at Samsung decided nobody used it.
