One UI 6 worse than 5

Not sure how/who to give feedback about One UI but the notifications are far worse on One UI 6 than 5. The video below shows a mix of issues: poor delayed expansion of notifications, drop in frame rate when scrolling down, and not being able to close the notification panel just from swiping up anywhere - need to swipe up from the bottom only. Everything about this "stable release" feels like a beta.

On a side note, some improvements I'd like are: turning the Gaming Hub back to what it used to be like - I've had to uninstall the updates because the latest version is absolutely awful; integrate widgets into the lockscreen itself without having to tap on the clock; and if you tap your phone on your galaxy watch, make it open up the galaxy wearable app, as opposed to the screenshot shown below of a "tag collected".

Some really obvious improvements to be made here, and One UI 6 has only made the experience worse after I had absolutely loved using One UI 5 on the S23.

But that's inherent behaviour in both OneUI 5 and 6. So not really a bug or anything new. You simply have to be at the top or bottom of all your notifications.

Certainly wasn't the case for me in one ui 5, I had no issues with the notifications in one ui 5. If it was the same, there wouldn't be an issue. If the video in the post loaded, you'd know what I mean. I don't think I can help you understand without the video so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Unfortunately your video doesn't appear to be able to open.

So far, what I've found inferior is that the deep black backgrounds on the previous release, when on notifications, has turned to a light gray.  very washed out now.  anyone else notive this?

Oh please, typical moderator language. One ui is a f*** up as everyone on the internet says. Let me tell you key to success... stop changing UX/UI. New features, great. Security patches, great. Changes to Ux/Ui on a product already spent $1200 for = me sneaking in your home while you're at work and rearranging everything with a good intention of thinking it'll make your life better. Apple hasn't changed Ui/Ux since day one and they still dominate younger gens... hmm.

I'm not a moderator. I'm the same as you, just I'm very active on here and as such I get the Members Stars badge.

Reason why I say provide feedback is so bugs and errors get reported to developers.
No point moaning about bugs if you don't do something about it
The more that report issues, the more information they get to work with.

I take it you've not used an iPhone for a while. They have been charging the UI and getting slated for the amount of bugs and issues
iOS 16 was a bug fest. It was widely reported
With my Samsung phones, I also have a 15 Pro Max. Currently it's on iOS 17.3 Beta. Thankfully for me it's quite stable
But apart from a couple of slight glitches on my Z Fold 5 and S23 Ultra that I fixed by wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone. The One UI 6 software has been fine

I'd like to confirm the problem of closing the notification panel, I updated to One UI 6 a few days ago and I'm having the same problem: it's impossible to close the notification panel without having to scroll all the way to the bottom. This is a REAL REGRESSION, because on One UI 5 , it was possible to close the notification panel by starting to slide from the bottom of the screen.

I have a lot of notifications on my daily usage and now it forces me to scroll always down to be able to close the panel. Huge regression

Before One UI 6, it was possible to put down the finger on the red zone of my screenshot, and swipe it up so that the notification panel closed.

Please try it by yourself on a One Ui 5 so that you could confirm that I was working that way back then. It's always what I did, and then now since I upgraded, I can't find this behavior of closing the notification panel anymore. When I swipe in this red zone of the screenshot, it keep scrolling down instead of closing the panel.

Exactly this. On top of that, the stupid animation of cluttered notifications expanding makes it even worse
