One UI 6 Issues

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed any negative issues since the One UI 6 update?

Main changes I have noticed as follows, I'll update as and when I come across any more

Battery

Battery drains much quicker

Fast charge has stopped working on non Samsung chargers

Browsing

Getting a lot of errors loading webpages or blank pages and some dead links in pages. My default was Chrome so I changed it to Samsung Internet but no improvement

Networking

My signal strength seems lower and the phone has more issues connecting to certain Bluetooth devices e.g sumup card reader etc ad-hoc i.e occasionally it's ok

I've noticed maintaining network connections as an issue a while ago even on the S22u but lower network strength is recent as the signal was always stronger on the S23u compared to others

I've given up on the NFC with my sumup app i.e scanning the card on the phone instead of the card reader. This was a really useful feature and worked flawlessly for a while but since a few updates is very rarely successful and returns errors reading card which gets embarrassing when stood with a client also with the S23u you need to reconnect the card reader quite frequently as the phone stops finding the reader. This never happened with the A54 5g I was running side by side with the S23u with the same software set up and reinforces suspicions around the S23u network connection consistency

Notifications

I did have a period of notifications just disappearing when you click to read them but been ok for a while

Apps

I have noticed apps sometimes close unexpectedly when changing focus to another app but not all apps e.g happens a lot when in settings but other apps seem to be ok

I've noticed a lot more apps continue running in background after they have been closed. It used to be one or two and since the update it seems to average 5 or 6

Camera

When editing photos (Cropping) there is an irritating delay between adjustments which if you don't wait between adjustments causes you to move the image and have to start over, really irritating 

There are probably other little niddles I haven't noticed yet or forgot as I'm often out and about when I notice.

I've already done the cache wipe, reset networks etc

I recently got an A54 5g to try out for a work phone which seems to out perform my S23u on the basic stuff such as maintaining network and connecting to devices etc, which suggests to me that the extra functions and components in high end phones may cause additional challenges

I personally think the update process itself causes issues. I say this because whenever I get a new phone or do a factory reset regardless as to the software version the phones usually run like a dream and the glitches only tend to start as the OS or certain apps update. I wonder if the bug testers are testing updates on fresh installs only so may be missing some updating errors/glitches

I certainly don't intend doing a factory reset and fresh app installs after every OS update, that would be a nightmare as it's a major undertaking

Yes it is quite qlitchy. I've found WhatsApp notifications are touch and go i.e sometimes I go into WhatsApp and have new messages but no notifications. Also browsers are very glitchy e.g pages often minimise or disappear if you go to maximise a video etc. I'm hoping a new update may resolve a lot of the issues. I would suggest resetting your network settings as this can help with connection issues and doing a soft reset can help when apps are misbehaving. Both the S23U and S22U I've had, have had problems maintaining a stable uninterrupted network connection i.e data. I notice it most with live streaming services on the go e.g radio or music app. I'm presuming it's an issue the phone has reconnecting e.g when getting signals from new masts as your driving etc as it often doesn't reconnect when a signal drops so you have to stop and restart the service manually to get it working. It should improve as the new UI beds in and more updates come along but it does get frustrating sometimes

I've noticed periods where my screen input has lagged or become completely non responsive, and also the separate app sound options can't be changed

Bro I have the galaxy Z fold 4 too and the same exact thing happened to me. Except now my Bluetooth and cover screen stopped working completely. I've seen a lot of other people have the same issue after the update. My issues started around that time too, but i dont remember if it was before or after the update. Do you know what could have caused that to happen for you if you noticed those issues before the update? And did you ever find a solution to fix that?

This only works for open apps....if had facebook and instagram open inhad to just tap the bottom of the screen to show the apps screen to tap another app....now i have to close one first...or type in app i want...what u suggested does nothing for me

I haven't managed to fix any of the issues... just hope that there will be a new update soon.

sadly not, I did send my fold in for a repair since its not even turning on anymore because i used it at -15° in norway

they might think that the antenna got disconnected when I dropped it but ill update you all once I got more information for the repair

Z Fold 3 Issues so far:

Screen rotation has stopped working so can only be changed by opening apps that force the screen out of a locked position (YouTube forces landscape, instagram forces portrait etc.)

Camera app is only in split screen on main screen, camera on right and preview on left, which is very uncomfortable to use.

Some apps, including the samsung members support, send 'app is not responding, wait or close?' message every few seconds even while using without problems.

Hoping I don't find more. Samsung live support was very unhelpful and didn't even send me the troubleshooting tips they said they would. What's going on? This has been the best phone I've had til the last update and not it's horrible and awkward to use...

Since the UI 6.0 Update I'm having problems with my home screen - sometimes it will refuse to swipe left to right, other times it may freeze mid swipe, sometimes it won't let me scroll up to see all my apps. Apps still respond but often open up something completely different - if I open up a folder, the folder itself won't open up but I can touch somewhere on the screen and it will open an app based on its position in the folder.
I did try a soft reset, but that hasn't worked. I often have to 'close all' to get my phone to work. Battery, connection, notifications, etc. still seem to be fine and apps all seem to be OK, which leads me to believe the issue is something to do with the home screen.

I get this every time I click on the home button after updating my A73 and the Next button is not working. No idea how to fix it?!!
