One UI 6 Auto Scan

Tried using the Auto Scan function for documents found within the Camera Assistant settings in the camera app.

When a document is detected all I get is the Yellow Scan button in the bottom right corner to take me to the scanning mode, but it does not automatically take a picture of the document and take me straight to the scanning mode screen as advertised.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Nevermind I realised I was using it wrong. It only auto scans when it detects a square or rectangular shape i.e a document and will auto scan. So it does indeed work.

Have you waited for the box outline to appear? Then it should automatically take a picture
