One UI 6.1 Update: Battery Issues

I'm going back to Oppo... 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

The SG23U was my return to Samsung in a good few years.

I'm starting to think I should have stayed with Oppo. Never had a problem at all. All updates (albeit slowly released) worked without a glitch. 

I've noticed so many glitches for this high end phone. I feel like it's all 'fur coat and no knickers' as we say in the UK. 

I will be changing after this experience and never return to Samsungs door again. 

Just wanted to get that out there due to sheer frustration of the battery issues amongst other glitches.

Funny, no issues whatsoever with Samsung like you with Oppo. You pays your money and you takes your choice

Same. After so many years I wanted to give Samsung another chance.. So far, 3 of their updates were not properly tested before the roll out and so far I had 80% less issues with my previous brand. If not 99%.

That's why I went back to Samsung, too.

I've even used Huawei. They were good phones. But Google Play Store access was removed. I'm not sure if it still is like that.

Oppo are very good, in my opinion, you get lots of memory, good camera and the Play Store to name a few things. The battery life isn't too bad either. Oh, by the way, I don't work for Oppo 😆

I find it incredible how so many people seem to have these issues after an update. I mean I've easily gone through over 100 updates of Samsung devices and never had a single one cause anything close to these "problems". But what usually makes me most sceptical is when the rants start naming brands they'll go on to after their tantrum of so called issues. Always find that hilarious.

Haha... I'm guilty too!

It is the first Samsung I've had in a few years, and for the price of the handset, I expected much more from them. 😳🙂

I'm experiencing worst battery backup after upgrading to One UI 6.1 with my S23 Ultra. I have used with One UI 6.0 for around a year and I better know about battery optimization but after using the new OS I can definitely say this huge battery problem was only due to upgrade of OS. Samsung Officials are not accepting the fault regarding issue in their new OS rather they are addressing the fault in our usage and settings. Hope Samsung Officials should get their fault and push new update fixing this issue as soon as possible.

This last update is seriously messing with my battery. It doesn't even charge up 10% on my one hour commute with a good quicl charger. What the hell Samsung?

Same here I use smaller version s23 but before update idle overnight battery never dropped and since update last week 100 to 97
