Hi everyone , I have noticed since I updated my s23 ultra to one ui 6.1 my battery drains much faster when doing similar tasks. Its quite concerning.

I've also noticed my phone takes a bit longer to fully charge too.

I'm frustrated by the fast battery drain and not sure what to do. Has anyone else experienced this ? If so what did you do ?

Thanks
Amir

since a couple of weeks this issue has been solved through updates from the galaxy store to samsung apps, seems that the fault of the battery drainage was cause between the 6.1 update and the apps catching up with the new system... now my s23+ battery lasts a bit more than a whole day, as it did before the 6.1 update, be sure all your apps are up-to-date

Issue not resolved. Maybe just for you. My phone is fully updated, apps and system and the issue is as bad as ever.

Today told me Samsung in the chat they don't know anything about battery problems👌

It's just disgusting and sad.

Here writes sammobile June update isn't expected to fix.

Samsung One UI Home is the source of all evil on my device (S24, 256GB, Snapdragon).... And since Android won't let you do anything about it (acts like a system service) all I can do is watch home ui using most of my battery and being run in the background all day long.... Stop adding shitty software (updates) to something that should be considered being a high-end / premium device at a premium price...
This forum is located at samsung.com. Would be nice if someone from the company actually read the forum, but - hey - they sell batteries and new devices and earn more money the faster the devices become bad, so why care, Samsung?
