One UI 6.1 AOD - NO COLORS

Dear Samsung!

The 6.1 update ruined the AOD for everyone, there was a missing brightness setting and the colors are disappeared. I would like to ask you to restore the possibility of the customizations. If you remove features from time to time nobody will feel the urge to upgrade their Samsung phones anymore.

The previous AOD was beautiful, the font size was big enough to read even the battery percentage, the notification icons were colorful and there was more space between the clock and the notifications, it was obvious at the first glance if there were notifications or not.

Now the font size is smaller, everything is white, the notification icons are almost unreadably small and they are too close to the clock. I would like to see colors on the AOD (this is why I bought amoled) notifications just as before: red for gmail, blue for telegram, green for missed calls, etc...

Outsourcing the AOD options to a different application (good lock) was a bad idea in my opinion, but removing features is even worse.

Thank you in advance!

The only way to access the AOD color/style/size settings is through editing the lock screen. If you find another way, we are all ears.

Or through good lock ?,which looks buggy as well ( "no color" options for icons is a good starting point ( not for size anyway) shows ok in the setting but does not work live...)

And maybe editing aod together with lockscreen should me reconsidered as well...

Kinda strange that if you select "no color" option in Good Lock, then the preview shows the original pre 6.1 behaviour: colorful icons. Unfortunately it does not make it to the actual AOD.

I just updated my S23 ultra to the new UI 6.1 & am now regretting it. I use the AOD constantly & has been one of my favourite & must have features in a phone, with this new update it is totally useless! You can barely see it on the screen now the brightness is so low & the size of the clock is so small too.

Why change AOD & get rid of it's features, it makes no sense. AOD must be restored to what it was previously, such a bad decision by Samsung

Yes, another bad one... thinking of changing brand! Android phones should be open and flexible, now these flagships loose what makes them interesting, first cuts were made by removing earphone jack and sdcard....

Do you think there is a better way to ask Samsung to fix this issue? Are they even active on this platform?

I managed to solve both brightness and notification color issues (red for Gmail, blue for telegram, green for missed calls, etc...)

brightness solved by using "good lock" https://galaxystore.samsung.com/detail/com.samsung.android.goodlock?langCd=en

notifications colors solved from configurations: settings -> notifications -> advanced settings -> Show app icon in notifications (toglle to ON)

Hello, I had already installes GoodLock, but even with your setting and the "no color" option for icons in GoodLock (which pre-displays ok) , the icon colors remain the same as clock...
