OK so giffgaff 02 and asda mobile don't work

OK this has given me the biggest headache my phone after update didn't allow calls or texts anything but ee works calls text data how strange is that omg

Only 1 sim and I put it in tray shut tray the connections says my mobile number but just says emergency calls

I see on one of your other threads that you bought the device from Cash Converters.

I am wondering if your IMEI has been blocked?

If you put your giff/O2/Asda SIM into Tray 1, what do you get?

If you then take the SIM out and put it in Tray 2, what do you get?

Ok I tried it... if I put giffgaff in sim 1 it doesn't work but ee does and if I put my giffgaff sim in slot 2 it works

Sadly for the OP (who has sent the IMEI to me via DM to check), the device is indeed blacklisted.

They'll be reporting this to the seller and hopefully get a refund.

Please watch out when buying second hand as there are a lot of bad actors out there who play the system to get the insurance money and the sale money leaving the buyer to pick up the pieces.

The OP has returned the device to the third party reseller who has accepted the problem and refunded them. 👍
