After the update to One UI 7, I was disappointed to find that making notifications transparent on the lock screen is no longer available. Samsung, please bring back this feature.

I just asked the same of the below commenter, but I think it applies here as well...

I tried to make my lock screen notifications transparent and with white text as you did above, but making the text white made it white also for pop-up notifications when the phone is unlocked, meaning the text disappeared, as the pop-up has a white background. I'm using Glimpse Notifications, if that's relevant.

Is that happening to you or did you find a way around that?

I noticed that some notifications only have light or dark mode, so my advice is not to use black letters for dark mode or white letters for light mode.

I use same colour for notification panel and notification background,  look picture

Thank you so much for your reply! I'm not sure I understand... I don't use dark mode on my phone, only light. But I realize now that I only edited it in light mode. To your last point, "I use same colour for notification panel and notification background" I actually don't use a color for the background of the notification -- I make the background transparent, because my lock screen has an image behind it that I want to see through rather than have a solid color. The attached are what mine look like, if you have the time to give it a look...

Very nice colour 😊. I use dark mode, and as I said - Theme Park is not applied to some notifications, they look as if they are in dark mode (that's how they look without applying Theme Park), so probably that's why some of your notifications are light (white), and you also chose white letters so they're not visible.

Thank you for your reply. I'm still confused, but it's not your problem to solve! I have never used dark mode on my phone, so I don't think that could be the issue. The problem is that this works for the lockscreen, which has a dark background, but the pop up notifications I get through Glimpse Notifications when the phone is unlocked -- IE, when I'm using the phone and texting or browsing and a text comes in -- is a white bubble, so the white text I've chosen to work on the lockscreen is showing as white against that as well. I feel like it shouldn't, because it's another thing, but... I'll have to figure it out.

Thank you again!

Actually, I've figured it out... Instead of making the white background for the lockscreen notification all the way transparent, I just made it about 75% transparent, leaving the text as black, and that solves my issue. Wish they would allow us to just change the background as they used to, but...

I can live with this! Have a lovely day. :smiling-face:

Try without Theme Park. My notifications panel and Quick settings panel are transparent even without Theme Park. Some background blur can be setup in Home Up modul

Oh, it's not the notifications panel I'm trying to make transparent -- it's the lockscreen notifications themselves, which have switched to no longer being able to be made transparent with this most recent update. But we're good now!

I found some glitch in Quick Panel module. See picture. If I choose some recommended theme in QuickPanel module (not in ThemePark) , some notifications have white letters.

I created my own Quick Panel directly in Theme Park,  not through Quick Panel module.

I guess some notifications use Google's material theme, and mostly not.

I have transparent notification on both-lock screen and homescreen

Yeah, I don't know what's going on with that. I think it's possible my issue was caused by the fact that I use Glimpse Notifications, and maybe the pop-up notifications that come through that aren't going through the rest of the phone's theme or something. It's working for me now though.
