Hi. Ever since the update a few days ago I keep getting thrown off the network. I am with Lyca Mobile.

I have tried to restart the phone and toggle flight mode off and then on. It works for some time then eventually it will throw me off the network. I have tried the following

- Restarted phone
- Flight Mode
- Network Reset
- Reset all settings
- Removed Sim and inspected it
- Connected to Lyca network manually and changed connected to the lowest one
- Safe Mode
- Firmware is up to date

None of the above worked. I haven't tried factory reset. I don't really want to factory reset its just the hassle of backing everything up and going through the whole process again.

Is there anything else I can try or is anyone having the same issue. Things were fine before the update.

Since this issue I can make or receive calls and texts or use data.

I have had a similar problem but it doesn't even recognise my network which is giffgaff. Tried all the above as well. I tried a network only reset as I don't want to risk losing all of my data, etc.Still doesn't work. I can't even phone for assistance as i have no network connection and no response yet to my error report.

If you put it in flight mode and back does it connect then? Try connecting to o2 if it shows up when you manually scan

I have contacted lyca they said they will look into it. Its happened after update

it updated Thursday night. Stopped working when I went to use it the following day

Must be the update then I was worried I might have to send phone to Samsung for repair. Let see what lyca come back with

yes - new sim. apparently coincidence that the sim broke at the same time as I did the software update. at least it's sorted now - thanks for the help
