Minimum ISO level

Been testing random shots in Auto. I've noticed it will, if needed, actually go down to ISO level 10. If it's capable, why aren't we able to do adjust to thag level manually? 

I'm a beginner to photgraphy, so apologies if this is a silly question, hopefully someone can enlighten me on it. Thanks

To be honest. I love the photos coming out of the camera as is and don't even feel the need to edit them.

Especially for people photos.
