Lock Screen Notification Brightness Really Dim

Since yesterday I downloaded the new update One UI version 6.1... the beginning of my nightmare. Since this so-called update my lock screen information does not appear anymore it is so dim that you can't see anything. Before this update there was a feature to turn the brightness up or to lower it. The brilliant people at Samsung decided that they didn't think I needed it anymore. Well I'm pissed. I didn't give you guys permission to mess up a perfectly fine working phone. There are other things as well that have been moved and you can't find them. Or have been taken away. When your  making update you're supposed to make it user friendly. I spent many hours on the phone with technicians from Samsung yesterday. No one can figure it out. Right now I want my lock screen to be bright again because I use it all the time now that you guys screwed up my phone I no longer can use it cuz I can't see it. There was at one time a feature. Before you guys got your hands on my phone. Now I have a $1399 phone that I am unhappy with. And I realized next time I could buy a $99 phone and be just as unhappy. I promise you guys this if they don't send me an update for that fix for the very very very dim lock screen. My next phone will be in iPhone.. how about moving around things and chat the microphone's gone. And the toggle switch to switch back and forth from keyboard to another keyboard. Thanks for making things a little more difficult for me. Now I consider this a piece of ***** it is no longer user friendly. I'm a very unhappy customer. And I promise you may God be my witness I will not buy another Samsung product if this does not get fixed. .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there I've had the same problem I've gone through everything and I can't change it. I too use it for work to check the time......

I know Floss's review on the S24U mentioned this dimness on Always on Display/Lock Screen. Something he despised. He compared it to the S23U.

What p****s me off the most is that they use are equipment/devices. As they're guinea pigs they have these stupid ideas for these updates at our expense

The lock screen brightness needs to be fixed asap! I can't see the time in the night, i miss notifications because i can't see them. Can't see the edge lighting anymore when a notification is received, let alone read the message preview. Please Samsung, bring back the adjustable brightness !

Same problem - my vision isn't the greatest and before the update I had adjusted the brightness to my liking.  Now the latest update not only dimmed it but took away the ability to adjust it.  Terrible idea!!!!

Me too, its sh*t... Weirdly it was bright at start of update... Then it went dull hours later!!! I've forked out £1300 for this phone & wish I'd stuck with my old S10!!! 🫣🫤
