I want to discuss AI. Is there a way to remove AI before 2026 so that I won't have to pay for it?

@Domi1998  In any case if Samsung were to introduce charges for AI at a later date this would be on an opt in Basis and possibly for additional features.  Therefore hopefully have some assurance and as has been stated there are no definitive plans at the moment.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

What I remember when I download a software update on a Samsung phone, it says that once you update your phone to the new software update you cannot go back to the previous software version and if you do, is not supported by the Samsung company and you do it at your own risk.

And why would you want to delete all the AI? Some if it is really cool and like the Mod said, you won't have to pay for all of it. Some will still be free.

It's true. Every I update I receive, states that you cannot go back to the previous version. I suppose you could flash a version of android 13, but what's the point. You'd lose out on another 7 major updates, and flashing is risky.

Yes I am sure it will be like that. BUT what I am also 100% sure is that samsung is gonna spam us like hell to pay for those little things it cooks up in the future.

But are they worth?

My country language for example is not among supported regarding all this ai things samsung added, so they are 100% useless to me and I am objectively 100% sure that it never will be supported. Long live capitalism so to speak.

You may not have to pay for it but samsung and every other affiliated company are using your info, including personal data and information, to make them as rich as they want at your expense, think about it... you are worth millions to them and if you don't get anything back from them, they are data thief's.

I was not told that Ai was a part of the new update ! If I had u would have opted out of adding it !  With that said, seeing it is forced on my phone I pay for and the service I pay to have.  Then, I want it removed off my phone and any further updates need to be explained what it consists of or not !  Its not samsung or galaxy's phone when I purchased it. Now if I want to remove a app, I have the right to do so regardless of what someone sneaked into a update to make money off me. Next, I will seek legal assistance and see why Google Ai was added whit or without my permission!  You don't own my phone and you have no right to put/add what ever without my knowledge!

Hey all. There isn't a way to 'remove' AI, but you can disable features by heading into Settings > Galaxy AI > Select the features you'd like to switch off > Toggle off the switch. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the clarification.

But is the company working on a way/option to fully remove te AI features?

I just got the update on my S23, and I find the AI prompts so annoying, also resource consuming. My battery doesn't last as it used to after the last update, so I want to either revert the update or an option to disable all the features I am not going to use and that do consume battery power on my device, like AI.
