I have touch protection on but i still end call when i am getting my phone out of my pocket. Samsung support suggests making the incomming call icon smaller on lock screen

How about setting screen timeouts for your display to stop it being accidentally touched or remove the call shortcut on your lock screen.

Actually if you have the touch protection on the device shouldn't do anything while you take it out of your pocket or bag when you pick it up, that's the reason for having it, if it's not enabled then yes it would answer the call not the other way round. I have it enabled on my S22ultra and I have never had that problem getting it out of my pocket. Iv'e heard its one of the problems the S23 has.
