I can't be heard when a call is routed through a phone tree

I'm on an S23 Ultra. When I call anything with a phone tree, people can't hear me properly. When they call me back it's fine. My husband has the same issue on his version of the same phone. We're based in the UK on ID mobile.

I think they means automated message service where you select options or corporate phone system where you can dial persons extention

I've heard them called that before but might be a coloquialism. Baiscally yes though, anything that's automated beforehand means that people can barely hear me and I don't know why. It's marginally better if I use headphones but still basically impossible for people to hear me.

Can you be heard when making calling to another phone? Through WhatsApp or such messenger?

Also you could run diagnostics on members app, if all is good with above suggestions then I would hazard a guess that it's the phone system youre calling has issue or the network provider is having call issues

I can be heard when calling another phone normally and through an app like whatsapp. I can also be heard if I get them to call me back. The issue is just with the phone tree.

Diagnostics say that the microphones are fine. This seems to be with every (or at least most) systems which involve the automated systems. My reception is fine, and it's fine if they call me back.

If it is only occurring on the Phone Tree and on no other calling types then I would suggest the issue is with the system that the company you are calling uses?

It's happening to both me and my partner, and it's an issue with a bunch of different systems (bank, doctor etc)
