I am not able to transfer data from phone to laptop

When I connect my phone with Lapotop, there is no pop-up message for transferring data, just the phone is charging. On a laptop, I don't see my phone is connected to the laptop. I did a few things which didn't help:

* USB settings clear cache/delete data 

* I'm not able to boot the phone into the Recovery Mode (PDP; back-u: fail) 

* SAMSUNG USB Driver for Mobile Phones installed on a laptop 

*tried a different c-cable, not working 

*tried a different laptop, not working

@Tourbillon De La Vie how to do that? 

I didn't have those issues before, this is new. Because, before without any problem I had contacted my phone to Laptop and I transfered all data without any problems.

If you have Developer Options enabled. Tap on the highlighted heading (see screenshot ) and check what is enabled

@Bigtasty65 first option is  selected. sorry I missed wrote that step was done as well in my thread
