How to get charging notifications when S23 Ultra is OFF and charging

On every other samsung phone I've owned when it's off and being charged there is a red light. When the phone is fully charged it turns green.  Simple but nice.  When this phone is off the screen is blank and I have to push a side button for notification.  I've turned on all notifications under battery in settings and nothing.  This is ridiculous.  Is there a setting I'm missing to enable a notification to let me know status or just when phone is fully charged when it is off?  Is there a download that will accomplish this?  Is there something wrong with my phone?  Thanks to anyone that can help.

Nope, I have the S22ultra and even that phone no longer shows when it fully charged, I don't think all the latest devices do. The last time I saw that my phone is charging (red) to fully charged (green) was on the S8+. I do like you wish it would show when they all use too.

I am wondering if it's not been removed as you can see the charge level on screen now which I don't think you could do on older phones, if I want to check the charge level whilst it's switched off and charging I just quick press the power button and the circle with the %charge come up onto the screen. Not sure if this is the reason but hope it helps

I don't have to push the power button to do it, I can just tap the screen. Perhaps it's something to do with the Always on Display?
