Gallery Layout Changed

I went to the gallery app on s23 ultra today and the layout of albums has changed from like a grid of album thumbnails to a list of album thumb nails.

No idea why or how it changed or if I did something. I've looked the the menus and settings but can't find anything and I don't know if/how to change it back.

Can anyone help please?

When I go into a folder in the gallery, the pinch zoom just changes the thumbnail size of pics.  I want to get rid of the folder list on the left side from appearing

When in that album if it's showing other album thumbnails swipe left and if you want it to show the thumbnails swipe other direction.

That much works, yes. Now, there's always some dimwit in the "update department" who has an idea they think is so great, but is nothing more than REALLY ANNOYING!!

  I go to Gallery to have a look at a few photos. Choose the Album of interest, and it looks just jam packed crowded! WTH??!! 😱 It appears Dimwit Upgrade has stuck a sliding sidebar of Albums in with the Albums, taking up precious viewing space and giving the whole Album viewing a messy & confusing & very annoying experience!

  I see no menu options anywhere to revert this mess back to it's original great function. Anybody out there with a helping hand?
