Fingerprint sensor broken!!

Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra 

All of a sudden my finger print sensor stopped working!!

I get error messages ' Cover the entire fingerprint sensor'.

Did a quick sensor check using *#0*#, got fail on the following checks.

DBIAS_CAPSENSE_CHECK - FAIL

DBIAS_TUNED_DBIAS_VOLTAGE - FAIL

Very disappointed, expensive phone and relatively new

Any Samsung expert, please advise

Seems to be a common problem with the S23 series, quite few people on here reporting that issue now.

Oh no, seems like a design defect, if the same flaw is replicated in multiple devices.
I really hope that samsung has some sort of fix which does not include a hefty repair fee.

Mine is the same it will not accept my finger print or face recognition

I'm having trouble some one is setting my apps off after I gave trouble getting to sleep because of medication 2 nights running my phone has woke me up as if someone is trying to get in touch then I can't get back to sleep but it keeps saying there are going s on in the background get extra security Ee say I don't need it
