Fingerprint Operation Cancels at 91%

Hello!! 2 days ago my phone began charging and draining quickly. After restarting it, everything was back to normal except my fingerprint which was "corrupted". I deleted the fingerprints and tried to set up a new one. I get a "Fingerprint Operarion Canceled" pop up everytime at 91% complete. Any tips?

Hello there, @sunny30. That's an unusual issue. Just to rule out the obvious, has your phone's display sustained any damage and do you have a screen protector applied to the display? I ask the latter question in case it's having an issue detecting your fingerprint.

Hello 👋 @sunny30 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

There is a Diagnostic Tool 🔧 found in the Samsung Members App which may highlight something. 

And the option to Reset All Settings in Settings > General Management > Reset. 

A known troubleshooting step is >

• Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
