I have an app that automatically changes my wallpaper for me daily. However, the colour palette does not change. It should update itself automatically, regardless of the method use to set the wallpaper!
The colour palette feature seems pointless if it doesn't match the current wallpaper, and it's ridiculous that the only way to apply a new colour palette is through setting a wallpaper in the settings or the Samsung Gallery app.

The colour palette is Samsung's implementation of Material You, a core Android functionality. To suggest that Samsung do not need to allow third-party apps to access it is like suggesting that they do not need to let third‐party apps send notifications - i.e., ridiculous!

You want the 3rd party app to change the wallpaper but then Samsung services to change the colour pallette. Do you understand? Maybe the app should implement that functionality as it's doing the changing. I'm not sure I'm getting my point across properly.

That is not correct, it IS Samsung's lacking implementation to be blamed. Simple proof, the colors don't change even when the wallpaper is changed via Samsung's own stock applications, for example if you set a blue wallpaper and pick one of the suggested color pallettes, then create a Routine to change the blue wallpaper with an orange one for example after sundown, the color pallette stays blue, you'd have to adjust it manually to reflect that change in wallpaper.

Two OS updates before I had that option that automatically showed me the palette to select the appropriate colours based in the wallpaper I used. It was after I changed last wallpaper nothing appeared and had to Google the steps to manually do it. Is a boomer now but at least I learnt how to do it and found I can change the colour of most of the icons of the apps I've got.
Greetings.

No you're wrong..
Nothing phone has stock android in it. And i used TAPET app for auto change of wallpaper every 15min. With every change in wallpaper you get a change in the colors of notification panel, icons everything where material you feature exists.
Such thing is missing in Samsung and its pretty pathetic to say the least..

Yes right.. Samsung is pretty pathetic in some areas..
One such thing is missing this dynamic chage of color palette with wallpaper change.. and one more is the launcher..
Whats more pathetic is that the launcher has no vertical scrolling in the app drawer.. we need to navigate all the way from America to Australia to identify the apps we needed to open.

My issue main issue is saying it's pathetic that it doesn't nclude the functionality. Are we children who cry about every single preference that we have that is not included? I get where the OP is coming as I stated before but saying this is ridiculous and that is blah blah is so simple minded. There is a way inwhich we communicate or desire for something.
Everyone seem to have an expectaation and expect a company to cater to it. There is a difference between saying it would be nice to have something a certain way and demanding/ saying it should be this way.
