I considered the 45w charger so I looked online at comparison tests and there seems to be around 8 minutes advantage for a complete charge by using a 45w Vs a 25w. However there is a significant difference up to about 80% charge before the trickle charge kicks in at the end. So for quick charges up to 80% the 45w charger is much quicker but for the full 100% charge the difference between the two is minimal. I personally felt it didn't justify the extra cost so instead got 2x 25w chargers one for upstairs and one for downstairs, which means I have a backup should one of them fail. Hope this helps
