Fan of S Pen but not of bulky S Ultra

I'm a fan of S Pen so I used to be a regular NOTE customer. In my opinion, Note 10 was a great phone. But then all was rebranded as Galaxy Ultra. The main issue is the huge, bulky, heavy S Ultra phones. I tried S22 Ultra and even though the hardware specs were great, the size and weight were not. I had to switch it for a plain S23 instead.

So I kindly recommend to have some type of Ultra Compact phone version in the future.

The problem is fitting it all in.
If you see the inside of the S23 Ultra. There's no excess space
So you'd have to compromise on other things to get that S Pen in a smaller phone.
Smaller battery would be one thing and lower spec cameras. Or remove the Zoom camera
Partly why the Z Fold phones don't have an integral S Pen in the phones current design
I guess you could take away the features of the S Pen and it becomes just a stylus pen

But also current demand is for larger phones as well. Even Apple couldn't make the iPhone mini work

I do agree with specs. I meant something like the former Note series. You had the plain version a little decaffeinated and the plus version with full specs, just like the current Ultra version.

Yeah I don't think the demand wasn't there for those phones really.
Note fans didn't want to compromise on specs and build quality
So hence why they dropped those from the range.
I could see the appeal, but for me if I wanted a Note phone. I went with the top of the range. I suspect many others did as well.

That's why I still kept my s21 ultra.

I love the rounded corners and curved display as it's easy to hold and use the swipe gestures.

The Spen is optional which works for me.

I have historical always bought the S series for the Camera but liking the spen option.

That is exactly what I want! I have the S23 (base model), but really want the S23 ultra for its s pen, curved display, and amazing cameras, but I just can't have such a big phone, especially when my hands are pretty small 😮‍💨😂. I hate to say it but Samsung should copy Apple and have the S23, S23 plus, and then an S23 ultra but smaller and lighter, and then an S23 ultra plus or something like that, so everyone can enjoy the Ultra series with the burden of such a large phone!
