EXTREMELY slow backup

Today, my S23 Ultra is performing a full Google One backup. At time of writing, it has taken 1 hour and 21 minutes, which is a new record for it! S21 Ultra usually takes between 20 and 50 minutes. There also seems to be an issue with malware scanning of all apps which can take over an hour sometimes. Considering that the S21 Ultra runs Exynos and S23 Ultra, Snapdragon, I expect better! Any tips please?
