Hello,

I'm curious about what happens when I set the battery protection level to 85% and the battery reaches this level. Does this mean that from this point on, the phone uses power directly from the charger? I'm aware of a similar feature for gaming, which I have activated, but I'm wondering if the same principle applies when the battery is charged to 85%. Additionally, I use a Samsung charger with a 25W output and PPS feature.

It stops as far as I know. Most people charge it up to the max 100% as it's intended to do, charging only to 85% means you get less hours to compared to %100 and need to recharge sooner. The more you charge the more life of the battery goes down which isn't good.

I agree I have a phone store and many people ask about that also discharging and charging back new phone I told them don't bother with that because if you studying all those things you won't enjoy the phone. Phone now have bigger battery and more efficient. I recently service my s20 fe and change the battery and port because was getting an error and the back became unstuck the phone was 2 years and the battery was still good and I charge to 100 percent multiple times a day. I told myself the phone hasn't shown any signs of slowing down unlike my a52 and I said I ain't need any new phone because it has 8gb of ram and 256gb. So the point is, it is not going to save the battery because the phone won't stay 100 percent right through anyway.
