Email notifications

I have a Samsung s23 FE. I have 3 email addresses. Does anyone know how to change individual notification alerts? I've looked in email settings but can't see anything

If you mean notification sounds, then it may be possible. If you use the Samsung Mail app for all three of your accounts, then it is possible to assign a different notification sound for each account.

First, enable notification catagories by going to Settings>notifications >advanced settings>manage notification catagories for each app. Toggle this on.

Then, goto settings >notifications >app notifications. Scroll through the list to find your email app and tap on it. Tap on 'notification categories '. Toggle on all the categories you want. To assign a sound to each catagory, then just tap on a catagory and tap 'Sound'. Choose a sound.

Do this for each email account listed.

Hi I have 3 separate emails. I'm sure on I was able to make individual sounds on my previous phone which was a samsung s20 FE

If you take a look at my screenshot which shows the notification catagories section of my email app (Samsung Mail), the categories are grouped under my email account. If you look at yours, do you see your 3 email addresses in there? If so, then you should be able to assign a different sound to each account. Sorry, I don't know which email app you use, but the principal might be the same for other apps.

On my new Samsung S24 Ultra (Android 14), I searched in vain for a way to customize the notification sound for Samsung's Email application (Version 6.1.97.1).
By following your advice, very clearly explained, I was able to achieve my goal.
The way to reveal the options (first activate the notification categories) and the path to follow to do so, are not easy to find.
