Hi I am off to USA and wanted to get an E sim ( American network) for my phone for roaming and local calls etc. I have a UK model Samsung S23 which is unlocked. Will this work in USA with E sim, as I have read that USA s23 models are unable to be used outside of the states.

thanks

That's not true, my mates have been over from the states with their S23Ultra and had no issues, in fact my friend just left last Wednesday

And your phone should work if unlocked. I havent used esim in the US so cant say if have any issues, but with physical sim I have zero issues

I go to the states atleast 5-7 times a year

Check 1st most UK provider's will let you buy a roaming add on for the USA 🇺🇸 which is just as cheap Three used to be free so I'd Check 1st there but E-Sim should work in any country as long as your model has the same bandwidth chanel as the phone you have .

Some Networks only allow eSims on Pay Monthly type contracts @Twixabell

Also removing an eSim isn't always seamless although it should be.

If I was making the decision I'd opt for a physical sim card.

Have a great trip 😀

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
