Demand for Inclusion of S23 in One UI 7 Beta Program as compensation for Delayed Updates

Samsung's selective rollout of the One UI 7 Beta is a blatant disregard for its loyal customers. Despite earlier promises of faster updates with One UI 6.0, Samsung is now excluding capable devices like the Galaxy S23 and S22 from the beta program, reserving it solely for the Galaxy S25 & S24 series.

This strategy attempts to coerce users into purchasing newer models, neglecting those who have invested in recent flagships. It's unacceptable for Samsung to prioritize marketing tactics over customer satisfaction.

We demand:

• Immediate inclusion of the Galaxy S23 and S22 series in the One UI 7 Beta program.
• Transparent and fair update policies that don't discriminate against recent devices.
• Compensation for the intentional delay in software updates.

If Samsung continues this anti-consumer behaviour, we must reconsider our support for their products.

The S25 series are designed and developed with One UI 7 at its core. So these are on the full software.
The S24 series phones have the beta software as they will be the oldest with all the AI features.
Older models won't get some of the features and so probably don't need all the development work needed for them
Not all devices need to be on the Beta software to develop it
The full release software will be starting to roll out soon in the first quarter of this year

@kranthi pilli I understand you may be too excited to try and use the new UI. But please be patient it isn't ready yet. Samsung hasn't promised any concrete official date for older versions...

@kranthi pilli  Good luck with that, just a few requests!  Whilst Samsung welcomes feedback they make the decisions at the end of the day.  The 4th and final Beta will be starting for the S24 shortly and afterwards the stable release will roll out. S22 and S23 Devices still expected to receive it in the first quarter.

Unfortunately android as to be modified to run on each phone. Samsung makes a lot of different phones with a lot of different hardware. Some models even vary from region to region. So it takes a long time to make sure it runs efficiently on each model. Releasing the firmware to all phones would mean a lot of people running into problems with their phones.
