default camera setting on galaxy s24 ultra instead of 12 mega pixel

Good evening everyone, i heard galaxy S24 ultra getting 24 mega pixel default setting instead of 12 mega pixel camera and if it's right is it possible to get this feature on galaxy s23 ultra by software update?

It is already available.

Go to Camera App
Go to Settings
Go to Settings to Keep
Go to Keep High Resolution

Then in your camera, select whichever you need, 12, 50 or 200 MP and the app will save your choice 👌

I know what you said but I am talking about 24 maga pixel here default setting instead of 12 mega pixel, so there will be 24/50/200

So it is likely that Samsung may follow the same principle but we won't know until mid January if that's when the Unpacked Event is (press seem to think this is the time).
