Contacts

Hi all. The majority of my contacts have dissapeared. Anyone know why or how to get them back as i have checked all settings and found no help.

Hi! Did you move them over from another device?

If so, on the other device, go to Smart Switch and move over the contacts.

1. Open Settings 2. Tap Google 3. Tap Set up & restore 4. Tap Restore contacts 5. Choose which account's contacts to restore from 6. Tap the phone with the contacts to copy

1. Go to Settings 2. Tap Samsung account 3. Tap Samsung Cloud 4. Tap Restore data 5. Choose the device to restore from 6. Tap Restore 7. Tap Done

Hi John. They have all dissapeared of my other phone. I updated my outlook lastnight and then find most contacts had gone. I have both phones synced.

It may be worth trying an old backup.

Outlook? Are you referring to your saved contacts as in phone numbers on the phone or your Outlook addresses?

Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > Restore data, select the desired backup, and follow the prompts to restore your data.
