Please make the SNOOZE button the main "big" button in the middle of the ringing Alarm screen.
And the dismiss / turn off alarm as a slider or something at the bottom.

Currently the "big" icon in the middle of the screen is the dismiss, which my sleepy head goes straight for as I'm awakened.
I'd rather just sleepily tap the middle of the screen to snooze it, rather than hunt around for the small snooze button at the bottom, or accidentally dismiss by groggily swiping at the big icon in the middle...

Move the snooze button to the middle of the screen, make it larger. Move the dismiss to the bottom and make it smaller. Too easy to accidentally dismiss, currently.

Sounds like a good 💡 idea there @BobT36

I would also suggest to send this via your Samsung Members App as feedback  👍

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

The past two days I've woken hours later than intended. Turned out my alarm rang and I'd cancelled it in my sleep.

I keep doing this lately. PLEASE give an option to change this.

I tested today and it can be dismissed by a simple poke. Now when bleary eyed and half asleep, that poke is going to be right at the middle of the screen, where the big button is....

Snooze needs to be the big button in the middle, with dismiss as a horizontal slide at the bottom.
Gonna end up missing a serious work meeting or something at some point..
Baffles me why it was designed like this.

Same here. The snooze is completely missing in the Alarm now. You just poke the X and it dismisses it. Could be since the last update

I've missed at least two important meetings now, poking at it in my sleep and then it just turns off completely. 😕
Many people use their phones as alarms nowadays, I don't know why this should be acceptable. Just like on an alarm clock, Snooze should ALWAYS be the biggest button, as that's the one you slap when half asleep.

It did snooze before the update. You had to slide up and hold it to dismiss the alarm. Any other action has activated the snooze. Hope they fix this in next update or even add more snooze/dismiss actions

Way back the snooze button was the big red one on the screen and the dismiss button was the smaller one below. Ever since they swapped it around, I have been setting dozens of alarms with 5 min intervals. But yea, I wish there was a toggle for this.

Indeed, I can't see why they did it like that, did they even actually try to use it? Sleep and then try to snooze it when groggy in the morning with a blaring alarm? And then hit a BIG button just once that dismisses the entire thing, where you think you've snoozed it? Silly.

So I moved away from Samsung alarm, and am now using "Alarm Clock Xtreme". It's a fantastic app, and allows various different dismiss / snooze settings.
Snooze is a nice, big button in the centre, timed how I want it.
Dismiss is a small button at the bottom that I have to press and hold for a good few seconds for it to register. Never missed a meeting since!

Oh and better than that, it even has a wakeup check, where it will ring again even after dismissing, unless I cancel the wakeup check (just a click on a notification). I've set that for 3 mins after dismiss, so if I dismiss then fall asleep again, it's ok!

It also has a cool feature where it plays sounds of birds or waves or whatever x mins before your alarm rings, to slowly / subconsciously wake you from deeper to lighter sleep before ringing.

If you don't want the press / hold to dismiss, there's other various settings too.
So Samsung's stupidity has now had me completely unset everything from their alarm app, and move to another with better features.
