Can you search for text in photos in the gallery app?

You can do this on iPhone or Google photos but I cant seem to do it on my s23 ultra gallery?

[Edited] Samsung Gallery app is able to recognise and provide search results based on text search, although the results could vary. Google Photos app supports this feature and seems to be consistent with results.

In Google Photo's you can, that's why it's much better than the Samsung Gallery app is.

Hi, I had a relook and it seems to be possible to search on text in Photos. The results can vary.

You can the Memescanner app from the Google play store, it will work for every text in any image.
