I've tried speaking to Samsung, but it seems no one there knows how to transfer files via a USB let alone their own software.
I'm trying to send files from my s23 ultra to my s21 ultra, to use it as a spare storage device. I've found so far that apart from using cloud or a pc, it's impossible to do via smart things or any USB to USB transfer with any apps I've tried.
Is this purposely done? I'll press "recieve" files, and it'll just go backwards without me doing anything and only let me send them from the s21, and reversed with the s23. Are there ways to do this that don't involve a computer?

I normally use the methods in this link @bigbadbrent
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-switch-my-android-device/
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

That option doesn't seem to work. It starts up fine, but once I've selected what I want to do, it just changes and won't let me transfer from a newer phone to an older one. I'm not sure if it's like a forced smart switch thing and samsung only recognises a newer model but I guess its gotta be a file sharing website
