does anybody else have this problem, my camera keeps launching when i am scrolling on other apps such as yourube and FB.

This was a problem with iPhone users about 4 years ago. Apparently, it was a bug in the Facebook app. It didn't affect Android users. It certainly doesn't happen on mine. The only things I can suggest is to ensure all your apps are up to date and consider reaching out to each app developer.
You can also remove each apps permission to use your camera, but that might be detrimental as you may actually want that feature at some point.

will give that a try, but it only started today and rather aggressively so i doubt it has anything to do with software updates.

Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

Thanks. In addition to @BandOfBrothers advice, please try settings>apps. Tap 3 dots in top rh corner. Tap Reset app preferences.
