Calendar Notifications

My old S7 would play a calendar notification for 20-30 seconds and then stop.

My new S23 either plays a very short sound (Light or Medium setting) or, on Strong setting plays a tune that never stops.  Which is fine if you have your phone in your hands, or are not driving, or throwing clay on a wheel at the time.

Has anyone used a different calendar app that will play the notification sound long enough to hear it, and then stop by itself?

Could it be that they change the sound that you had wanted maybe they made it shorter? Try another sound and see if it works for you.

My s23 calendar does not give off any sound! And notification sound even though it looks like it's turned on it's grayed out! It's tough because it's not really reminding me all the time just by pop-up I need the sound
