S23 battery drain following One UI 7 update

Battery seems to going quite fast on this new update compared to oui6 any solutions I dont..want to do a factory reset and lose everything

Reduce screen fresh rate to 60hz and screen resolution to 720p. This should help a lot

Seems like lots of people are having difficulty with the latest update on the S23 series.

A couple of things you might want to consider

1. Battery life can take a hit after an update, so keep monitoring for a week or so.

2. During the week after an update, keep checking for app updates in both Samsung and Google stores.

3. A good old simple phone restart can do wonders.

4. Consider a phone 'wipe cache ( check YouTube videos on it)

5. You can also consider RESETTING your settings only.

After the update- the battery needs to go through 14 days of calibration. Then itll go back to normal

*it can also be an app causing this- all updates fully done?

Hi all since the last UI Update I've been having issues with my battery draining quick. Expamle my battery has on about 49% checked my phone about 40 mins later and its off the battery had died. I'm also having issues when it is charging. Yesterday it was stuck on 32% for ages. I took the charger out and turned the phone off plugged the charger back in and it jumped to 96%. I'm using as S23 Ultra
